The American Flag (Sof)

The American flag is a symbol of freedom and patriotism. From the first flag that dawned thirteen stars for the original thirteen colonies, to the flag we know today, it has always brought pride to the people of America. Many poems and songs have been written about Old Glory, and she flies in front of schools, , government offices, and is waved in parades as a sign and symbol of our freedom and all who fought to protect and preserve it.
