Cliff Dwellings: Empty Windows

In 1888, two cowboys spotted something strange at the base of some rocky cliffs in southwestern Colorado: There, carved into the side of a canyon was a hidden village of buildings and towers. The men explored the strange cliff dwellings and found hundreds of rooms filled with tools, pots, and toys-as well as skeletons! Who were the mysterious people who had built these structures?
