We believe in the power of the pen. We believe that literacy is an essential part of a successful life. We are committed to serving agencies who believe that dogs have a special place in the lives of humans. Again, we asked for your help, and again, you responded with an enthusiasm we could not have anticipated. We are exceedingly grateful!

The goal of this collection is to bring awareness to the exemplary work of the special people at Leader Dogs For The Blind. Proceeds from the sales of this book will support their efforts to house, provide veterinary care, and train dogs to serve those who are in need. Their important work is supported primarily through the outreach of the Lion's Clubs of Michigan and through the generous hearts and hands of people like you.

This book is a collection of poetry, short fiction stories and personal essays about dogs. We were thrilled to receive such a diverse collection of words that will most certainly make a difference in the lives of dogs and the people who are their companions!
