Anna's Awakening

Recovering from a marriage lost to her husband's depression, Anna struggles to rebuild her life. Just as a new writing career is within her grasp, she finds herself accidently aiding the man of her dreams, the still attractive, Jake--her secret love from high school. With Anna's help, Jake understands that his life may be in danger and, by her association with him, so might hers.
In an effort to remove them both from a threatening environment, Jake decides to accompany Anna on her book publicity tour. He finds that he needs Anna's unique book knowledge both to unravel the mystery of embezzled funds in a state university and to keep them safe. As Jake's love for her grows, Anna feels even more ambivalent about their relationship. How much can she risk again?
