WW II ACTION/ADVENTURE Josephine Foxx, an Oklahoma farm girl gets her pilot's license at age 18 after her brother is killed at Pearl Harbor. From country to Wichita, Ks., she finds her life change dramatically. Swept off her feet by Navy Ace on New Year''s Eve, Lt. Henry Savage(Hank) they find the drama of war putting their lives on different paths. Josie finally qualifies to become a WASP and constant turmoil keeps them apart. Danger haunts both of them. Flying from carrier decks in the Navy's horritic Pacific Campaign battles, Hank is shot down, plunges into the sea and barely survives. Tragedy and trauma plague him in the atoll jungle. Josie has her own problems, her prayers and Navy rehab bring him home to her, Love finally reunites them with a homecoming surprise.
