Grandma Hearts: Beaches

The ocean, the lake, and rivers too.
There are beaches everywhere for you.
You must have water in all its glory,
but the beaches themselves, that’s another story.

As I walk the beach with Grandma,
I almost always hold her hand.
Grandma looks down the beach, then at me and says, “My, isn’t life grand!”

Bedtime should be loving,
bedtime should be sweet.
Evenings end with songs and stories,
make every child’s day complete.
