Beyond This Home

As time goes on, Matthew and Ellen Anderson can't help marveling at how life is changing. With all of their children grown and out of the house, they begin to face that they aren't quite as young as they used to be. What does this mean for their life on the farm? Will Matthew be forced to move to town and leave the hills and open spaces that he loves?

And it's not just Matthew and Ellen, who face hard times. Johnie's wife struggles with cancer. James, a successful professor and busy father and husband, wonders if he can really fulfill his dreams. Margaret, farm wife and mother of six, struggles with busyness. Carol's marriage is in trouble, and her relationship to her parents and siblings is strained. Michael, at 23, struggles to find his identity and place in the world-in ways that go against his family's values.

Will the members of the Anderson family find the strength to trust in God and lean on each other? Will broken relationships be healed? Can all of life's unforeseen changes and challenges be weathered in such a way that the Andersons will remain a tight-knit family?
