In Recovering Love, Stephanie and James struggle to communicate their needs, hopes, and dreams while fighting mental health issues. Stephanie is a young mother and James, her husband, is a recovering alcoholic. Situations of death and grief have kept them apart. Learning to cope with these will bring them together.
