Distraught by a fiancé who called off their Chicago lakeshore wedding a month before it, Renee Winters flees to Denver, Colorado. There she shares an adjoining condo with the mysterious, churchgoing Grant Alexander. He arranges for Renee to secure a job at his company, transports her on a motorcycle escapade up Pikes Peak, and shares his faith with her. Both desire to become more than friends.

But prior pain has built an icy barricade around Renee's heart, rendering her reluctant to trust Grant and his belief in God. Will a snowy Christmas Eve be enough to warm her heart?
