Losing your love has left a void Nothing can ever fill; I can't find a substitute And, I never will. How could I ever know that you Would suddenly be gone? How do I ever dull the longing That goes on and on? I thought that you would always be Right here next to me; The twists and turns that life can take Are things we can't foresee. We will never realize All the things we planned; The reason that you had to go, I'll never understand.
