An Irish Mystery

In April of 1810 after sixteen years of service in the Royal Navy, Captain John Massengill returns for a brief visit to his native Irish village of Croome Court. Following his return to duty things begin to happen that change life in the village. Four years later he returns again, retired and wealthy from prize money, and within hours of his arrival the village is engulfed in murder, mayhem, and scandal. The local constabulary is at their wits end trying to solve the crimes and it falls to John Massengill to find the culprits and stop the terror.
