From Fear to Faith: Unloved, Part 2 of the Trilogy

A gunshot broke the stillness of the warm summer night. This time, it was for real, and it would change my life forever. It would also change the lives of my family. I was to discover that God does not promise us an easy life, but if we allow life's challenges to shape our character for the better in obedience to His will, blessings will follow.

I was unwanted even before I was born. Maybe that was what made me strong, able to endure my mother's lack of love and affection, my stepfather's physical abuse, and my husband's mental cruelty. I was born in London during the blitz of WWII and raised in difficult circumstances in war-torn England.

By the age of sixteen, I found myself in South Africa during the throes of apartheid, having to contend with a cruel husband who was unable to love or be loved.

Unable to leave, with no money and four children to support, I feared being hunted down and killed by my insanely jealous husband. Through it all, God was to make clear to me that I should stay, and He gave me the strength and grace to see things through.

In the writing of this book, He has led me every word of the way.
