The Travels of Marco Polo is a description of Marco Polo’s travels into Asia and the Near East in the 13th century, cataloging his travel routes, observations on the many groups of people he encountered, and descriptions of the cities, towns, and countries in which these people lived. The Travels of Marco Polo contains both illustrations of areas, as well as maps and even site plans of his travels abroad.
