A collection of three short stories that take place where land and sea meet. All three are tales of love, greed, heartbreak, abandonment, and the romance of the sea and the adventures it brings. The main characters are all on the fringes of society in some way, which brings its own version of heartbreak. A must read for any fans of Conrad or the sea.
