Regardless of who earns the money in the family, budgeting must always be done. Record your total income then deduct from it your bills and expenses so you know how much you can save per month. A household budget book is especially important if you're raising multiple children asking a lot of things almost all the time. You don't have to explain - just show them an updated budget book.
