Blue Butterfly

The Blue Butterfly is a collection of poems about dreams and desire, sometimes inaccessible and sometime up for grabs. It is also about joy and sorrow, and about incomprehensible events in the world. And about friendship, intangibly far and very near.

The Blue Butterfly is for anyone who is looking for guidance. Dare to be vulnerable! Then you can come very close to yourself. Go chase the scent of happiness! Find answers to your questions! Four words are usually enough to add color to your life and that of another. The Blue Butterfly brings people close together and close to God.

She was born in Den Helder in 1959. Both her parents are from Indonesia. In 1969 she moved to Waddinxveen. She found herself in the Roman Catholic Church weekly but she was not raised with the church hall. After the death of her mother, she started to write. By writing things, she can relate better. Writing has helped her in healing.

She works at the rectory of St. Victor Church and is a volunteer at a hospice.
