You, the Jury I

All rise. The Court will come to order. This is a prosecution accusing the defendant, Bryan Hazzard, for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, Ms. Patti Carter, and due to her death based on relevant circumstances, second degree manslaughter.

It's Christmas Eve, and sixteen-year-old Patti Carter is at a party thrown by none other than Bryan Hazzard, a young desirable bachelor. Although underage, she drinks heavily and mingles with Bryan, who talks with her throughout the evening and offers her more drinks. The party carries on, but when Patti leaves to go visit her boyfriend, she doesn't make it. The next morning, her frozen body is found.

Bryan says his friends checked IDs at the party and that he left much earlier in the night than Patti. The prosecution says Bryan is at fault.

After further investigation, Bryan is indicted for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and second degree manslaughter. He pleads not guilty, but it's up to the jury to decide.
