This book is written and dedicated to Chief Dr Samuel I. Ortom who has stridden the political spectrum in Nigeria and have become a symbol of hope and aspirations for many. From his humble beginnings Dr Ortom rose admits formidable obstacles which he gallantly overcame to attain political history and relevance amongst his compatriots. His life is exemplified by great humility, political fortitude and purposeful leadership. As a champion of the poor and down-trodden he has become a beacon of hope for the hopeless and a panacea for the many political and economic ills plaguing Benue State today.

We present this book as synopsis for the actualization of an Ortom Mandate 2015. We did not arrival at the decision of endorsing and promoting the candidacy of Dr Ortom lightly, we took into consideration the man's unenviable political history and performance track record both at the state and federal levels. You will read highlights of some of Dr Ortom's achievements later in this book.

Among all the people that will crowd the High Way of Benue political landscape in 2015, none has made a greater impression on the hearts of the people of Benue like Dr Ortom.
