Me and My Brother and Me : A Story of Life, Loss and Love

'Me and My Brother and Me' is the second book about my story. The first book, 'A Reckless Spirit', is about my life of drugs, alcohol and the culture that goes with it, and then looking after my brother, who after a heroin overdose ended up brain-damaged and quadriplegic and couldn't move nor talk. 'Me and My Brother and Me' is about two brothers who were both finished in their own way, who ended up together with their lives changing for the better, especially mine. In this book I write about the emotional and physical side of it, questioning myself and why I was doing this, and struggling with the isolation that I felt, not to mention what my brother felt locked up in a body that didn't work. Though all that we went through was hard, me and my brother touched people and made them feel good with our story of two brothers helping one another. Yes, my brother was a lot of work mentally and physically twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, but believe me, I got more from my brother than he got from me. I got freedom. Frank was my brother and my hero.
