Something strange and mysterious is about to happen in Rainbow City. It's Halloween and the Pilkington family are celebrating with their annual fancy dress party. Everyone in Rainbow City is invited, even the not so popular Mrs Whatmore. But trouble is never far away. With Edwina Pilkington's birthday only a few days away she must complete a special magic spell so she can be part of Professor Frogley's Computer School of Magic, because Edwina has magic powers - she is a WITCH! Can she use her magical powers, potions and a rusty old robot called Miss Prudence Pugwort to save her city from the evil Fire Dragons?
