Totally Epic!

The Under 12 footy teams are having a rock’n’roll disco! Rainbow is so excited to wear coloured hairspray and funky clothes at a REAL DISCO, but why is Lucy’s cousin Pina being mean? Will Rainbow and Pina work things out before the epic match between the Flyers and the Vampires?

Rainbow has a lot of fun clowning around with her Flyers teammates. The Milly West footy club is the one place she feels she really belongs. She doesn’t have a lot of friends at school and the kids there don’t appreciate her sense of humour.

But with the Flyers, where Rainbow is captain, it doesn’t matter whether they’re training or playing a match – she never feels weird or dumb. Not like at school.

At training, Coach Shawna talks to them about being a team, and lifting each other, like the players who hold up their teammates in a contested mark. Rainbow gets to announce the club fundraiser, which is happening in two weeks. They’re having a disco for the Under 12s and younger. The girls are all really excited.
