“Horse” conjures images of power, beauty and vitality. “Horse” also defines compassion, intelligence, humour, understanding and love.

Animals have always been with me in my life adventures. The stories offered here are some of my favourite tales of the horses who have shared my life — the joys, challenges, the quirky little nuances and snapshots of their incredible personalities — all that made each of them so very special.

I will always be grateful to them for enriching my soul, allowing me to learn their wisdom and experience the exceptional knowledge and understanding that they, each of them, brought to our animal-human encounters.
