The ride began with three simple words… YOU HAVE CANCER. Sick In the 6ix is a candid account of a winding journey through the ups and downs of diagnosis, treatment, recovery and the life after through the eyes of a cancer survivor. A trip that at every turn is mixed with self-reflection, gratitude, comedy, sarcasm, sadness and the possibility of finding some solace in “whatever doesn’t kill you will simply make you stranger.”
