Pecky is discovered in Tickles Playhouse and is flown to star in a movie in California, where she discovers the gifts of family.

Pecky hated take-offs the most. She was going to California for her appearance in a Hollywood movie. Sitting in first class, headphones on, she ruffled her white feathers and sank heavily back in her seat.
