“We have more possibilities available in each moment than we realize.” —THICH NHAT HANH

“Between the banks of pleasure and pain flows the river of life. If you spend too much time on either bank, you will miss out on life.” —NISARGADATTA

Denise is an well rounded woman. She is the mother of five sons and one daughter, her greatest achievement. She grew up in the small town of Espanola, Ontario, in the French part of town. At nine years of age, she was moved to Toronto, not knowing a word of English. She was without a mother and learned to fend for herself. Denise was an ardent Roman Catholic, who at age 40, began to study the teachings of Jean Klein, Nisargadatta, Ramana Maharshi and Rumi, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Sufism.

Her talents include water colour and acrylic painting, sewing, cooking, and

a flare for decorating. Music has been a valuable part of her family's life. Three of her sons have formed a Band.

This book reveals much of her rich journey up to her 80th Birthday. I am her husband and I think there is no woman like her.
