Phillip Norton obtains summer work as a deckchair attendant in Batcombe. Previously he worked at a bank in the City. Part of Phil's duties are to deliver dairy coolboxes to The Sea View Hotel via the cliff railway. Soon he is into a heady romance with the receptionist.
