Four young women, stuck in an airport terminal, courtesy of an ash cloud; strangers, each with a secret and stories to tell.

Lucy, 32, is off to the Far East with a small, concealed package; her life has gone off track.

She's stuck in a rut, lacking in confidence and worried about keeping her promise to someone in Thailand. Then there's PF, a stunning but puzzling American, Samra the exotic pole dancer and Ann, a fresh faced but naïve Irish girl who's not had much experience of life – or has she?

Together they form a bond, first telling stories to pass the time, but the tales begin to take on a different turn as Lucy meets the lovely Fergus, who wants to paint her in oils. Yes, really. And what about the gorgeous Matende?
