Rumour of Hope: The Challenge of Choosing

“Rumour of Hope” is an account of my own life with interspersed theological comment. It is divided into two parts, The Lawn and the High Ground. Part One is an account of my life from birth until my marriage after leaving the active ministry of the priesthood. Part Two the “High Ground” deals with a number of experiences which impressed me while living in the country where I spent my childhood between the ages of eight and a half and eighteen. “The Lawn” is a symbol of “white collar” middle-class professional side of my life.
