A good old smuggling yarn, with a sprinkling of truth attached to it. The story is set along the Hampshire coastline.
Hampshire is a county situated in Central Southern England with the Isle of Wight on its doorstep, separated only by a narrow strip of sea. The year is 1784 and it's the height of summer. Smuggling or free-trading is very much a local industry, along with boat building and forestry.
There are several well established smuggling gangs who are extremely active in the area, with our man Thomas Johnson and his team being one of the busiest. Working along with him as his second in command, is the beautiful dark haired Petra Turner. She is extremely skilled and a formidable force when fighting with the cutlass. Petra has proved worthy of praise on many occasions in the past, especially when the team has made an impromptu contact with the Revenue boys during a free-trade run.
On one particular issue, Petra has a real axe to grind and is patiently awaiting her chance to get even.
Over a number of years the team have successfully managed to keep the not so professional Revenue Boys in their wake, but, could things be about to change? - With Tom Johnson planning one very big free-trade run for him and his team.
