Little Heroes

Teaching Severely Emotionally Disturbed children is not easy. Mrs. J. takes on the problems with shrewd insight and a loving heart. She leads her children to find the goodness and the intelligence they have inside themselves. This work is a testament to the extraordinary capacity for accomplishment and character that children have, when properly led.

This work is also about the severe limitations that 'professional educators' often put on their work with children. The bigotry and narrow-minded adherence to failed policies and practices is a part of the story, as is the harm that such adherence invariably brings.
