Rego Retold

Celebrating the 80th birthday of one of the great Anglo-Portuguese painters, Rego Retold is an in-depth poetic response to Paula Rego’s compelling paintings. Featuring full-color reproductions of 50 of Rego’s most celebrated works, the collection also contains poems by Owen Lowery that react to Rego's striking visions of aggressive feminism, colored by folk themes from her native Portugal.
