Bróga Johnny Thomáis

The first prize in the Cló Iar-Chonnacht Literature Award was awarded to Jackie Mac Donncha for his short story collection, Bróga Johnny Thomáis, that deals with: love and heartache, ageing, the labours of life - universal themes written in a lyrical, discerning, sensitive manner and presented to us in the distinctive dialect of rich Connemara Irish.
