Residential Tenancies provides a clear and comprehensive statement of the law regulating private and social leases of dwellings in Ireland, and it explains the dispute resolution mechanisms of the Residential Tenancies Board, appeals, and enforcement. One of the aims of the Residential Tenancies Act 2004 was to provide an inexpensive and speedy means by which disputes between parties to a residential tenancy would be resolved.
