Worlds Collide

Britannia AD 78. Roman feet thud through the land as an army of occupation. Cadeyrn, a young native aristocrat, passionately hates the invaders led by governor Agricola. Cadeyrn fears for the safety of his sister, who lives far away, and sets off to go to her despite warnings from his father and brothers.

But he does not get there.

Instead, he is thrown into a maelstrom of excitement and danger as he eventually ends up in the one place he hates above all - Rome. He arrives there at the time of the catastrophic eruption of Vesuvius which destroyed Pompeii, and encounters the mighty Emperor Titus and his evil brother Domitian at the dramatic opening of the great Amphitheatre, later known as the Colosseum.
