The Talisman

When he witnesses the atrocities meted out by some of his fellow soldiers in Poland, German officer Paul Klaussen decides he has had enough. Breaking out on his own, he manages to save a small British unit from a German firing squad and comes up with a crazy plan to guide them back to England via Dunkirk.

But when Paul meets the beautiful Amelia, his life takes a completely different course, leading him into espionage, subterfuge... and perhaps back into a German uniform.
