'Lessons from the Unknown' is a magnificent collection of poems that explores the territories of love, loss and the power to really 'discover' one's self within. Chavanese has been inspiring the world for many years, focusing on empowering and motivating young people who have been involved in gangs, crime, and gun and knife crimes. She has been in and out of youth centres, parent groups, colleges and schools, in order to ensure that they get the teaching they really need.
