Languedoc,France. Léa, a translator, meets chateau owner Augusto whose life is unravelling at an alarming pace. When his wife and maid disappear Léa becomes haunted by the mystery of what has happened to the two women. When Augusto commits suicide in a bizarre ritual Léa is left with the secret of the women's fate.
