My Longden Lineage - A Genealogical Study

This is a genealogical study of one Longden family which came into existence in 1750 following the birth of Godfrey Longden. The study looks at the key events in each generation of this family, who hail from village in Derbyshire known as Calow.

Each chapter begins with a family tree since it is generally agreed that genealogy is about the construction of accurate family trees based on clear evidence from reliable sources and records.

A secondary aim of this study is to ensure that all the individuals who feature in the book now have a lasting memorial.
