In Thomas’s Taverne Crunch Cove Eunice P. England relates a dramatic story of murder, wrecking and smuggling off the coast in ancient times before the lighthouses of today. In the era of sail, it is a story told in dialect and rhyme. This epic poem occupies half of the book, whilst the rest is taken up with poetry, some of which demonstrate Eunice P England’s love of wordplay.
