Mary considered the positives in her life:

* She does have a mother: who sadly prefers to love the famous Virgin Mary.

* She enjoys an unlimited supply of tasty carbohydrates: she’s now fat, unfit and she feels she’s festering.

* Luckily she has her wits: or does she? Kitty always provided the sanity.

* She’s saving herself, though not for Jesus: why; Kitty hasn’t?

Enough is enough; she sets about rectifying it.

Although this novel is written in an offbeat style, it covers sensitive issues: confronts inner demons, questions childhood doctrine and faces uncomfortable relationships.
