Surrounded by daily physical and emotional abuse by the very ones she was left in the care of, Nadeen had to learn very quickly how to survive. Some of life’s hardest lessons she had to learn the hard way because there was no one there to give her the guidance needed. It Wasn’t Easy is anything but cliché, it reaches to the very core of her pain struggle and heartache. Nadeen shares her journey of rejection and abandoned by both her parents, loss, betrayal, homelessness, disappointment, grief, bearing a child for her own enemy and coming face to face with death.

It seemed that all the odds were stacked against her. Little did she know that these experiences were equipping her with invaluable lessons about life, relationships, self-worth and the importance of knowing and coming to understand her value. A life growing up without a father to affirm his daughter leaves a longing for love, acceptance, commitment and loyalty.

Nadeen remained relentless in the face of adversity but it was God who saw her through what would have driven most people into a state of insanity. Nadeen’s story is anything but ordinary, it is her reality, her truth and her testimony.
