Forgotten Summers

An unexpected phone call from Stephanie, a name that echoes from the deepest recesses of his memory, awakens within Edward distant memories of sun-drenched childhood holidays spent in rural France and the tragedy which brought them to a sudden end, opening up a rift in the family, which had never been healed. As the two cousins, now in their mid-twenties, gradually become reacquainted Edward begins to piece together the truth that lay behind those seemingly idyllic holidays and in so doing comes to realise how much he as a child had failed to understand. But in their retelling, these distant events, once again come to play a malign influence on his life.
