I Never Would Have Made It

My name is Ila Boyd Lockhart. As you start to read my story, you might say, “Not another book about someone’s life!” You might think it’s just the same old story, of no benefit to anyone. Hopefully, that’s not true. Sometimes, people’s lives are changed by hearing what others have endured and overcome.

It’s full of liars, thieves, cursing, life and death, love and hate, drama, rape,jail time, and abuse. It begins with a frightened little girl and her sisters, beaten and hiding. It ends with courage and strength straight from a loving God.
