He offers you a job without an interview, based thousands of kilometres away in a country you know nothing about, to do some so-called consultancy in a field you have never worked in. “It’s something different. It’s a challenge,” Philip pleaded, the quivering prisoner in the dock facing a beady-eyed prosecutor with all the facts at hand.
