Battlecrease & Brandy: A Dissertation of a Theory

The history of Jack the Ripper is one of intrigue, mystery, truth and lies. The name of the man who carried out the hideous Whitechapel murders of the canonical five women in 1888 is only known to the he himself. In May 1889 Florence Maybrick was arrested for the murder of her husband James Maybrick. Over a century later in the year 1992 the infamous Diary of Jack the Ripper became known to the world. From obscurity James Maybrick, a cotton merchant, adulterer and family man became more infamous than his wife Florence when the finger of guilt turned towards him. The intent of this dissertation is to prove James Maybrick was more than a forgers preferred Ripper.
