A murder story about a serial killer. We see him through the eyes of the First Person narrator "Sweaty Freddy" Young who once worked as a janitor at the Edenton House, a boarding house populated by college students and itinerant faculty on the fringe of a small college campus in the mid-West of the United States. Young learns what he never would have guessed previously as a janitor and a so-called fly on the wall.
