The Three Birds

Based on the lost Sophoclean play Tereus, The Three Birds beautifully explores the extremes of love as two Athenina sisters are separated by a man who marries one but desires the other. The epic images of Sophocles act as a metaphor for the exceptional passions which hide inside us all.
