La Rappresentazione Dell'Edificio Teatrale Nella Ceramica Italiota

A study of the representation of theatre structures on Italian painted ceramics of the 4th and 3rd centuries BC, focusing in particular on the regions of Apulia, Campania, Lucania, Paestum and Sicily. The representations are compared to the architectural fragments of surviving structures and a sequence of developments in scenic representations is presented.
