Herkunftsbestimmung Archaischer Keramik Am Beispiel von Amphoren aus Milet

This volume catalogues and discusses over 200 amphora fragments from the Archaic period discovered in Milet. The catalogue is preceded by a discussion of the types of amphorae, both local and imported, their decoration and a chronology covering the 7th to early 5th centuries BC. The study includes a detailed technical analysis of fabric types.
