Culture and Society in Early Modern Breifne/Cavan

The Breifne region of south Ulster/north Connacht (roughly modern day Counties Cavan and Leitrim), was a traditional buffer zone throughout the late medieval/early modern periods between Gaelic Ireland and its Anglicized parts.
